Important "need to know"  info about FVIR gas water heaters

1. Buyer Beware...

many brands of FVIR gas heaters have a LINT FILTER that must be taken apart and cleaned quarterly or your warranty is void!!

2.   What  brands have " class action lawsuits" going on ? perhaps you should aviod them

3. It is very wise to install your heater in a PAN .

If you have a closed loop water system, it is wise to install a Thermal Expansion tank + Pressure Reducing valve..$475.00

If you are not interested just say "no thank you " and sign off on them..

4. A huge flood can happen if the t+p valve on the heater opens due to high water pressure or thermal expansion. If this pipe can be run to a drain, we will do it for free.

5. Beware of warranties! Most  offer a poor Labor warranty.    So  YOU pay for repairs just 1 year from now, or do them yourself.!!!

Look folks, if it boldly states right on the heater.."Do not call the hardware store back about problems...call this 800 # for help" you were "hung out to dry" on day 1.

7.   Can the  "installer" sent  to your home speak English?   Will this sub contractor or   "appliance repair man" have a valid plumbing lisc.  +   insurance?
